| Every year @ Easter I volunteer and sponsor with the King County Sheriff's office the "My ID Badges" for the kids at the annual easter egg hunt in Maple Valley. This allows each child to be fingerprinted, picture taken, and information taken and all put on a laminated ID card that the parent then has for future reference! Year round I help, volunteer and coordinate and donate to Vine Maple Place which is committed to bringing hope, help, and housing to homeless single mothers and their children. I am also currently on the Development Team for Vine Maple Place! For the first time ever, September 7-9, 2007 I participated in the 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk in Seattle! Our team raised over $13,000.00 & walked 60 miles to hopefully be that much closer to finding a cure! Most recently I became a brownie leader of Troop #52879 in Maple Valley. I work with 16 incredible girls...What a great way to give back to our community and work with our little future leaders! This year I formed a team for the 3-day called "Valley girls a walking in memory of Michelle". The world lost a wonderful person on Dec. 12, 2007 and so now we have a team of 36 walkers with almost $80,000 raised committed and motivated to raising over 100,000 and walking 60 miles to find a cure, Because Everyone Deserves A Lifetime! |

| I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family. My husband and I met our freshman year @ Tahoma High School and have been together ever since. 20 years together, 13 of them married with 3 beautiful kids! Our first child Cody, is 11 (6th grader @ Tahoma Middle School) and is our motocross superstar taking 1st place -85cc Beginner Class & 2nd place - 65cc Advance Class @ Pacific Raceways. Taya, 9 (4th grader @ Glacier Park Elementary) is our Brownie (Girl Scouts) & Gymnastic lover and loves horses & fishing! Trista, 5 (Kindergarten) @ Glacier Park Elementary) is also a Gymnastic lover & loves Sweet Shaun Alexander even though he's gone! Our entire family has #37 jerseys and every Sunday is Seahawk Sunday in our house! Go Seahawks! My family is incredible & supportive and the reason why I am who I am today! "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that TAKE OUR BREATH AWAY! |
